One long video in. A week of ranked shorts out.

Paste your transcript below. ClipWorks finds the moments worth clipping, scores every hook, writes the captions, and ranks the clips — strongest first. That ranked feed is the product.

Honest about what this does: ClipWorks finds and packages your clips — start/end times, hook scores, captions, posting order — and exports a render-ready plan (JSON + text). You render the actual video files from that plan in CapCut, Premiere, Descript, or any editor in minutes per clip. No upload, no waiting, no per-clip meter — everything runs in your browser and your transcript never leaves this device.

No file attached. The transcript drives everything; the file is never uploaded.

How moments are found: question hooks, big claims, stat drops, story turns, curiosity gaps, confessions, lists and hot takes are detected and scored 0–100. Overlapping weak windows are discarded — only the strongest, non-overlapping moments survive.

How the hook score works

Each candidate window is scored on what actually stops a scroll: an opening question (+), a number or stat (+), a big claim or absolute (+), a curiosity gap — “nobody tells you”, “the real reason” (+), a story turn — “then I realised”, “suddenly” (+), emotion, a confession, a list, a contrast (“everyone says X, but…”), and a clean landing line. Windows in the length sweet spot score up; rambling or filler-heavy windows score down. The reasons are printed on every clip card — no mystery numbers.

What formats can I paste?

Timestamped lines ([04:12], 04:12, 1:04:12), SRT subtitle files, speaker-labelled transcripts (“Host: …”), or plain text — plain text is auto-segmented into thoughts and timed at normal speaking pace. YouTube, Descript, Riverside, and Otter transcripts all paste cleanly.

Does ClipWorks render the video?

No — and it says so up front. Rendering in a browser tab would be slow and capped. ClipWorks does the part that takes creators hours: finding the moments, ranking them, and writing the captions. The exported plan turns rendering into a few minutes of mechanical work in the editor you already use.
